Refund policy

At United Foods, we strive to ensure that every order reaches you in perfect condition. As our products are food items, returns and refunds are accepted only under limited circumstances as outlined below.

By placing an order on our website, you agree to the terms of this Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy.

1. Return Eligibility

Returns will only be accepted in the following cases:

  • The product received is damaged during transit.

  • An incorrect product has been delivered.

Returns will not be accepted for any other reason, including but not limited to change of mind, taste preferences, or accidental orders.

2. Reporting a Damaged or Incorrect Product

To request a return or refund, you must notify us within 48 hours of the delivery of your order by writing to support@unitedfoods.com.

Your request must include:

  • Your order number.

  • A brief description of the issue.

  • Clear photographs of the product received.

  • A complete unboxing video showing the package being opened from its sealed condition until the product is fully visible.

The unboxing video is mandatory for all damage and incorrect product claims. Claims submitted without an unboxing video will not be eligible for return, replacement, or refund.

3. Non-Returnable Items

For reasons of hygiene, food safety, and quality assurance, returns, replacements, or refunds will not be accepted if:

  • The product has been opened or used.

  • The product seal has been broken or removed.

  • The product has been tampered with in any manner.

  • The serial number, batch number, manufacturing label, or any product identification has been altered, removed, or damaged.

  • The return request is raised after 48 hours from the date of delivery.

  • The required unboxing video is not provided.

4. Inspection & Approval

Upon receipt of the returned product, United Foods will inspect the product to verify the reported issue.

  • All returned products are subject to an inspection process, which generally takes 2–3 business days.

  • Acceptance of a return or refund is subject to successful verification of the claim.

  • United Foods reserves the right to reject any return or refund request if the product does not meet the eligibility criteria set out in this policy.

5. Refund Process

Once your refund request has been approved, the refund will be processed as follows:

Prepaid Orders

The refund will be credited to the original payment method used for placing the order, including credit card, debit card, UPI, net banking, wallet, or any other eligible payment mode.

Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders

For COD orders, you will be required to provide your bank account details. The refund will be initiated after the required details have been received and verified.

Please allow 5–7 business days for the refunded amount to reflect in your account after the refund has been processed. The actual credit timeline may vary depending on your bank or payment service provider. If you do not receive the refund within the expected time, we recommend contacting your bank for further assistance.

6. Order Cancellation

Orders may only be cancelled before they have been shipped.

To request cancellation, please email us at support@unitedfoods.com with your order details.

Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled.

If a cancellation request is approved before dispatch, the refund will be processed within 7 business days to the original payment method (for prepaid orders) or to the bank account provided by the customer (for Cash on Delivery orders, where applicable).

7. Return Processing Charges

For approved return requests, the following return processing charges shall be deducted from the refundable amount to cover reverse logistics and handling costs:

  • Orders below ₹2,000: ₹50

  • Orders of ₹2,000 and above: ₹100

These charges are applicable to both prepaid and Cash on Delivery (COD) orders.

8. General Terms

  • Products that have already been shipped cannot be cancelled.

  • Products once delivered cannot be returned except in cases where the product is damaged during transit or an incorrect product has been delivered.

  • An unboxing video is mandatory for all damage or incorrect product claims. Claims submitted without an unboxing video will not be eligible for return, replacement, or refund.

  • United Foods reserves the right to reject any return, replacement, or refund request that does not comply with this policy.

  • Refunds are processed only after successful verification and approval of the claim.

  • This policy applies only to purchases made through the official United Foods website.

  • United Foods reserves the right to amend, modify, or update this policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes shall become effective immediately upon publication on the website.
